Days before our mom passed away she wrote this poem. She journaled in her notebook and in a diary that I had given her years ago, called a Mother’s Legacy, Your Life Story in Your Own Words.
The year 2022 makes seven years since my mom passed and it still hurts to know that she is no longer here. I am grateful that she journaled her thoughts and story for her children to read. Thank you, mom, for this loving gift!
The word of God teaches us that we should honor, revere, and respect our mother. A mother’s love is like God’s love. Nurturing, uplifting, and empowering. Whether you feel you have this in your mother or not, this is the Lord’s commandment according to Ephesians 6:1-2, and Leviticus 19:3a.
