Creating Fond Memories

Recently, Derick and I celebrated 33 years of marriage and decided to take our first fall trip of the year to one of our favorite places to visit, Chattanooga, TN. Traveling in September when the leaves began to change colors is awesome. For the two of us, a drive in any direction is captivating. We make a plan, have our Surfshark VPN intact to continue our work, and hit the road knowing we will enjoy the drive, laughter, and great conversation.

As a husband and wife, the Lord expects us to take time to pray in, enjoy, celebrate, and cultivate our marriage.

A Celebration of Love on 9-16

On our special day, we undertook a new restaurant, Local Republic, and took a stroll in the park and downtown Lawrenceville.

A Week at the Embassy Suites

Over the years, Derick and I have stayed at some luxury hotels and not so luxury. But who doesn’t appreciate an Embassy Suites hotel?

The inviting lobby, breakfast, on-site restaurant, and sitting on the rooftop watching a beautiful sunset were a few of the amenities we could take advantage of.

The rooms are spacious and have a prep area with a microwave, fridge, and sink.

Derick had to conduct interviews the morning of one of our stays so it was nice to be able to close the bedroom door for privacy.

Tasty Delights

Two of our dining experiences were Mello Mushroom and Abuelo’s. We had more food and eateries but I will admit we both missed the mark on taking photos of our meals and desserts. We had eaten most of our food at every restaurant before we thought about our pictures. 😁

Nature Anyone?

Derick and I look forward to spending time in nature and hiking to see waterfalls. Our day at Rock City was a day to remember. There are breathtaking gardens, views, and formations to behold during your journey on the trails. It was even more awe-inspiring than we expected.
