Your very lives are a letter that anyone can read just by looking at you. Christ Himself wrote it-not with ink, but with God's living Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:2 MSG

The Times in Which We Live

The pain. The cries. Can you hear it? Feel it? See it? The world isn’t just dealing with life’s issues. The body of Christ is struggling also.

Lust. Anger. Greed. Fear. Envy. Sexual immorality. Witchcraft. All of it.

When have committed to living a life set apart for God, we choose to live a life of holiness and righteousness. We are being called and pulled like never before, to stand in the gap for the world and our spiritual brothers and sisters.

God is calling us to teach with our lives and to keep ourselves spiritually fit.

Spiritual Training

Every day we can strive to grow and renew our minds. Strengthening your spiritual life is not for God, it is for you.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2

Ways we can exercise our spiritual muscles:

Gather. When entering God’s house, enter to learn. Ecclesiastes 5:1 MSG

Pray. Praying is for us. Matthew 6:9-13 NIV

Read. Reading the word of God is for us. 2 Timothy 3:16 ESV

Study. Studying the scriptures and meditating on them is for us. 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV

Fast. Fasting and focusing on the Lord is for us. Matthew 6:17-18 NIV

This is the life we live as Kingdom citizens, we focus on being in right alignment with God and His word.

Life in the Kingdom

All of these things help us to get to know God better and draw us closer to him. Praying, reading, studying, meditating, and fasting help to keep us spiritually fit. The Lord wants us to cultivate these things and immerse ourselves in them.

It’s Kingdom living. People will see you mature right before their eyes.

But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His Kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right-the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also. Matthew 6:33 AMP

The Life of Freedom

I am free! Free of fear, of false expressions and expectations. Free to live my life in a way that is pleasing to the Lord and edifying to the body of Christ.

I am empowered! We all must be empowered. It is time for us to move away from religion and into the Kingdom. Accept what the truth is and discipline yourself for the Kingdom. We can live our lives in God and strive to be true and faithful.

Edify with Your Life

Inspire. Uplift. Change.

We teach the word of God by our life, by our example. People are watching us even when we think they’re not. They’re watching and we’re teaching by our demeanor, how we love, how we exercise our faith, and our integrity.

No more churching. It is time, time to be serious about the Kingdom of God. To put the Kingdom first and to seek His righteousness.

Everyday Living

Each morning I wake and throughout the day I am trying to force this flesh to die daily as Paul said in 1 Corinthians 9:27. We should cast down every thought and imagination that is not of God. By the minute, hour, and day.

Living as a Kingdom citizen is every day, all day. No vacations from it. It’s twenty-four hours, seven days a week, 365 days a year. No compromising, no justifying the flesh, and no living life on your own terms.

The Conclusion of the Matter

Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of all mankind. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether good or evil. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

Keep God’s commands. Pray for the commonwealth of the Kingdom of God. Impact the world with the nature, characteristics, and principles of the Kingdom of Heaven. Be the salt of the earth, be spiritually in shape, rest in Jesus, reverence and fear the Lord.
