10 Simple, Fun Date Ideas to be Playful with your Spouse

Ten Simple, Fun Date Ideas. Are you wanting simple yet enticing things to do with your spouse? Level up for a frisky date night. Or choose a more sensual and relaxing evening.

Here is a list of 10 simple, fun date ideas to engage or arouse your interests:

1. Shop

Fun and Flirty. Go shopping at a local store or online for lingerie and boxers, inviting loungewear, and matching undies. Peek-a-boo items are a seductive choice. Be sure that you and your spouse model your new pieces.

2. Overnight Stay

Hypnotic Hotel. Search for a hotel with high floors and a great city view. Or an Airbnb with a pool, water, or city view. Before your date night, write a love note to your spouse and place it somewhere in the room for them to find. Come together and read aloud. Turn off all the lights, open the curtains, cuddle in bed and gaze at the night lights and views.

3. Food & Thought

Foodie Flavor. There is nothing like finding a restaurant with great food and/or dessert. Scout Yelp for reviews. Try cuisine that you have never eaten and wet your palette with a tasty new beverage. When trying new foods be sure to include dessert even if you must go to multiple food spots. If you have access to Food trucks and street vendors, add them to the must-try list.

4. Rent an RV

Romping on the Road. Have you ever thought of having a luxury coach for the weekend, parking by a waterfront, and enjoying rowdy time with your spouse? You don’t always have to rent an RV to go across the country or have it for an extended period.

5. Evening Drive

From Dusk to Dark. Check out weather.com to determine the forecast and when the sun sets in your area. Research the direction in which the sun will set and start driving in that direction. You don’t necessarily have to have a destination in mind. Reminiscence and dream.

6. A Trip Downtown or to the Park

Photos and Videos. Discover captivating areas to take pictures and record videos for memorable moments. Feel free to take photos at home or any place of your choice. Be wild and crazy, a little mischievous, and have a fun-filled time with your spouse.

7. Blankets Piled High

A Floor Oasis. Gather a few comforters, locate a different room in the house or hallway and create a couple’s floor pad. Or if you would prefer to place a mattress or air mattress on the floor for more support and cushion do that instead. Make this your sleeping quarters for the night. Watch a movie on your computer, have dessert, pull up a virtual fireplace, play footsies, sing to each other, read the Song of Solomon, swap body massages, or whatever you deem intriguing.

8. A Day of Dancing

Right Foot, Left Foot. Listen to your favorite tunes, hold your spouse close, and slow and fast dance. Pull up YouTube, if needed, and follow along to learn a new dance move. Or how about taking a dance class?

9. Trolley or Train or Any Such Thing

Take a ride. This could take some planning. Choose a form of transportation or activity that either both or one of you have never participated in. Ideas would be hot air balloons, indoor or outdoor sky diving, destination train or trolley ride, boat tour or cruise, etc.

10. Fire in the Firepit

Outdoors or fireplace indoors. Curl up with your spouse under a throw, grab your snack of choice, and watch a movie or not.  Make smores or tell stories. Any season, early morning, or late evening, this is a terrific activity. Gathering wood, lighting a fire, and listening to the wood crackle can put you in a steamy mood.

Bonus Idea:

All Things Soft. Blindfold, touch, and tease. Assemble a few cotton balls, a feather, and/or yarn. Both of you put on a blindfold. Flip a coin to determine who will get a sensual touch first. Lie belly down and take one of the objects and gently stroke or caress your spouse from head to toe with one of the items. Try all three to determine which feel they like best. Be sure that you are soft as well. No dry feet and body parts.

Take time to disconnect, unplug and unwind with your husband or wife. Create an area for a no phone zone, be in the present, and have a fascinating time with your spouse.

There are countless things in life that you can enjoy together! Be creative and as daring as you wish. Take advantage of a good deal of ideas that you both can partake in.

1 Corinthians 7:5 states in part that a husband and a wife should not deprive one another, accept perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer.

So make plans for simple and elaborate dates and getaways with your spouse.
